Consumer Remarks On Playbook

Research In Motion (RIM) has officially launched the Playbook for the United States (U.S.) and Canada. Unfortunately, as a tablet computer that will rival the so-called IPAD, Playbook first appearance was greeted with enthusiastic consumers. The report, reported by Reuters and quoted on Wednesday (04/20/2011),two operators and two electronics stores in the largest shopping center in Toronto,Canada, are known to still keep Playbook stock in large quantities. The same thing happens also in retail establishments in New York, USA.

The atmosphere looks sleepy. In fact, in the same place last month, seen snaking queue of potential buyers welcomed the launch of the iPad 2.

"This will be a fairly heavy selling," said an analyst from BGC Partners, Colin Gillis commented on this situation.

Gillis natural that such remark. Based on observation, each store was only able to sell no more than five units PlayBooks. Gillis argues, is not enough to entice Playbook one tablet computer because it does not support email service that has become characteristic of this BlackBerry.

Analysts assess, RIM must keep working hard despite the initial launch of the tablet with a 7 inch screen is not encouraging. Previously, analysts expect the Armed tablets QNX operating system will be sold around three million units this year.
